Nice to meet you

ABOUT ME

My initial interest in psychotherapy began when I picked up a book called "Control Theory" by William Glasser when I was about 23 years old. In that book Dr. Glasser explains that you have a picture in your head of how life is supposed to be and when life doesn't turn out the way you'd pictured it, you have 2 choices; change your situation or change your mind-set.

It wasn't until many years later that I pursued my bachelor's degree in Psychology and then my master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have worked in a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center and in private practice ever since.

My goal for therapy is to provide a warm and welcoming environment where we can collaborate and find the answers together. I do my best to be direct and genuine while supporting your beliefs.

Outside of my practice, I have a love for animals, especially my Basset hounds. I have been married for almost 30 years and my children are grown. I love art, music, nature, learning, and pickleball.

My favorite quote is "Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better." Maya Angelou
